Le Havre and Elina Salo! This evening at 20:15 at Deutsches Filminstitut, Frankfurt

A beloved, highly respected, award winning Finnish film star Elina Salo is visiting Frankfurt! She is a co-star in Le Havre, as well as in a number of Aki's other films.

Le Havre is screened at 20:15 in Deutsches Filminstitut by the main river, Schaumainkai 41. Ms Salo said she want to honour the memory of Peter von Bagh (1943–2014).

Before this,  at 18:00 Timo Malmi from Midnight Sun Film Festival, and Claudia Dillman, Director of the institut, will introduce Sodankylä Forever: The Century of Cinema. Unfortunately Aki Kaurismäki was not able to visit Frankfurt.
